Indicating to the importance of cultural resistance, and the necessity of using literature, novels, stories, poetry, fine arts, theatre and cinema to serve the Golan Cause, Dr Riyad Nassan Agha, Minister of Culture, invited media persons to make more efforts to inform the world on the Cause of the occupied Golan and Golanists' suffering under the occupation.

With the beginning of 2010, the activities of Al Quds Cultural Calendar of 2009 in the Arab countries were closed and the Cultural Festival moved to Doha. I find it necessary for the Nation to make an evaluation of what has been achieved during Al Quds Festival Year

I feel an overwhelming ecstasy each time I hear the news on new archaeological discoveries confirming the importance of the civilisations and cultures piled up in our Arab Land, which proves the great historical leading role they played throughout the history.
